Testing & Acceptance of Jobsite Concrete -
Position Paper
Print the Position Paper for your records here. (2 pages)
Concrete mixes are typically designed and produced using guides, specifications, and standards from the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and ASTM International (ASTM). These same documents are often included, either directly or by reference, in the specifications of concrete construction projects in our area. This paper highlights the critical requirements of these standards that apply specifically to the proper testing of concrete specimens made in the field and used to determine acceptance.

In an effort to strengthen and support the importance of jobsite testing CPG is rolling out a national program set forth by Colorado Ready Mixed Concrete Association and supported by the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association!
CTAC - Concrete Testing Adherence Collaboration.
To date CPG has held training programs for:
+ Materials Testing Labs
+ Ready Mix Companies
+ Related Cement and QC personnel
+ Concrete Contractors & General Contractors.
CPG is constantly reaching out to designers, architects, engineers, general contractors, municipal inspection etc. to update on our CTAC process and how it can help them too!
