The Concrete Promotional Group offers many different kinds of events throughout the year. Our events are open for everyone, members and non-members. Most of our educational seminars offer continuing education credits. We hope you will come and join us!

Educational Seminars
Concrete Technology Course - Offered in January; 2-1/2 days of education by local and national experts in their fields. For new employees just learning about concrete, and those that have been in the industry for many years. The class follows "Design and Control of Concrete Mixtures" published by the American Cement Association.
Structural Seminar - Offered in September; seminar with an emphasis on structural engineering, features local and national speakers and topics, case studies, hot topics, and emerging technologies.
Municipal Concrete Pavement, Parking Lot, and Flatwork Seminar - Co-sponsored with the Missouri/Kansas American Concrete Pavement Association (MO/KSACPA) featuring exterior flatwork projects, case studies, the latest technologies, and common issues and solutions.
Hard Hat Tours - A variety of job-sites or manufacturing facilities are features yearly. Often these are no cost to attendees and include refreshments!
Other Seminars - These vary upon market need and as opportunities arise. Many are co-sponsored by other associations and industries. Keep an eye on the calendar for upcoming topics!
Networking Events
Several fun activities are planned throughout the year for networking and fundraising. They are an opportunity for members to meet and non-members to come and find out who we are and what we do.
TopGolf Spring Fling Networking Event - This event is typically in February or March. Food, golf, and fun!
CPG Annual Golf Tournament - Network, golf, and fundraising!
Sporting Clays Networking Event - Shoot clay targets (and win concrete ones!). Teams compete to win the coveted concrete clay awards, win amazing raffle prizes.
Concrete Mixer Driver Rodeo - Skills competition, winning driver goes to the NRMCA national competition! Sponsorship and networking opportunities are plentiful.
Holiday Party and Excellence in Concrete Awards Dinner - A November celebration to honor amazing concrete projects, thank our dedicated board of directors, and welcome new members. Come and meet us, find out who we are, and celebrate the season with us.
