Christy has dedicated over 26 years to serving as the Executive Director of the Concrete Promotional Group in Greater Kansas City. Leading an organization that spans both Missouri and Kansas, she works across the Kansas City metro counties to advance the use of quality concrete construction.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the industry, Christy was honored as the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s (NRMCA) 2023 Promoter of the Year.
Kristen Freeman

Kristen earned a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh and Master's degree in Geology from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. She worked for Ash Grove Cement in their Technical Center for 23 years first as a Concrete Petrographer and later as the Supervisor for the Cement, Concrete, Aggregates, and Petrograhpic Labs. She is active on several ACI committees and also serves as the Executive Director for the Kansas Chapter ACI.
